Gavin Posey

Gavin Posey joined the Foundation in September 2025 as the organization's Grants Program Administrator, eager to help build and support healthier Kentucky communities through the work of philanthropy. 

Originally from West Kentucky, Gavin's interest in the nonprofit sector was shaped by experiences with family and friends who modeled servant leadership. After graduating from Murray State University with a degree in Organizational Communication, he began his career as an AmeriCorps VISTA: Homes for All member at Family Service Society in Paducah, Kentucky. He most recently served as the Program Officer at the Community Foundation of West Kentucky. 

Gavin is a proud graduate of West Kentucky Community and Technical College, Murray State University, and Western Governors University, where he earned a Master of Science in Management and Leadership.
