Pass-Through Grants are partnership grant programs that are ultimately funded by a third-party entity, with facilitation and distribution handled by the Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky.
FHKY Direct Grants are funded and facilitated directly by the Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky.
We support organizations across the state through two different channels of grantmaking:

Unsolicited Grant Requests
This is a open application for unsolicited grant requests. All applications submitted here will be reviewed in the final quarter of the calendar year. We cannot promise that any grants will be made as it is dependent on what funds are available and what applications meet our priorities.

Funding for Recovery Engagement and Expansion (FREE III)
The third round of the FREE program aims to reduce overdose deaths and increase the overall well-being of Kentuckians by expanding outreach and engagement activities in communities significantly impacted by the overdose epidemic. Application window is closed.
