Jen Wilson joined the Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky as the Special Projects Director in February 2026. Jen comes to FHKY with a Grant Specialist background with expertise in healthcare access, social determinants of health, health equity, substance use disorder, maternal health, and behavioral health. She has worked with large and small nonprofits to support the improvement of healthcare outcomes for all Kentuckians, but particularly for marginalized and underserved populations. Jen is a certified Grant Writer through the Grantsmanship Center and has helped secure over $12 million in funding for Kentucky healthcare nonprofits over the last 5 years.

Jen earned an MA in Liberal Studies from the New School for Social Research and a PhD in History with a concentration in Gender and Legal History from Rutgers University.
