Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky welcomes new Board leadership and new members

The Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky announced today new leadership for its Board of Directors, as well as two new members. The Board is responsible for the establishment and oversight of Healthy Kentucky’s financial, program, and policy activities.

Jane Chiles, of Lexington, assumed the role of Chair of the Board on January 1, 2025. She currently serves as a director of eLinkDesign, a national web design and application development firm.

A passionate advocate for improving health care delivery, Chiles co-founded the Friedell Committee for Health System Transformation in 2005. It focused on improving the health of Kentuckians through community action, advocating for effective health systems, and measuring healthcare delivery. The committee merged into the Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky in 2018.

“I am honored to serve as the as Chair of the Board of Directors for the Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky, and deeply committed to tackling the unmet health needs of my fellow Kentuckians,” said Chiles. “The Foundation will continue our important work to expand access to healthcare, improve children’s health, address health disparities, and much more until everyone has what they need to be healthy and thrive.”
